CANDIDATE TESTIMONIAL
“This is the first time we have used Prime First Aid and we will certainly use them again. The course was refreshing and inspiring. Thoroughly enjoyed by all and people were still talking about it a week later.”

Recent Changes to HSE First Aid at Work training
HSE First Aid at Work training requirements have changed.
The Health and Safety Executive have reviewed First Aid at Work training. An overview of the main changes to take place from 1st October 2009 is as follows.
- The 4 day First Aid at Work (FAW) initial course has become a 3 day course.
- The 2 day re-qualifier course will continue to be required every three years for those who have previously undertaken initial or re-qualifier courses (as before).
- The HSE have introduced a new 6 hour Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course, for those organisations whose risk assessment deems this appropriate. This has essentially replaced the previous ‘appointed persons’ course.
- It is now strongly recommended that both First-Aiders at Work and Emergency First-Aiders at Work undertake 3 hour refresher training yearly.
